Sports Day 2024

Spa Sports Day 2024 is taking place on Friday 28th June!

This year we are doing things slightly differently to celebrate Sports Day on Friday 28th June 2024.  Activities will take place inside and outside of school throughout the day, with activities ranging from dance to Danish longball!

School Sports Day - All The Fun Without The Injury

Parents and families are then invited to join us from approximately 2pm to watch all pupils compete in races on the school field opposite the school (Alfred Road). Pupils will leave school at the normal time of 3pm using their usual exits.

Please note that children will not be allowed to go home straight from the school field.  They will exit school  as usual at 3pm.

Parents will be invited to stand along the sides of the field (Year 3/4 on the left near Sutton Road and Y5/6 on the right alongside the basketball courts) so they can view all the events.  Each year group will do all their track events during this time.  Each class will rotate around all of the events with all children taking part in each event.

Important Information: School Visitors Code of Conduct

It is the aim of the academy to provide a friendly and respectful environment for all children, staff and families. Our staff have a duty to respect the code of conduct and in turn we would like parents to take note of their responsibilities as a parent to ensure our ethos is continued. We are committed to ensuring that all children are safeguarded whilst in our care, and also with this in mind, you can help us to maintain our responsibilities in the following ways:

Please do:

  • Respect decisions made by school staff at all times.
  • Report any concerns to a member of staff.
  • Support and encourage your own and other children in a positive manner.

Please refrain from:

  • Using inappropriate language or displaying aggressive or intimidating behaviour towards the staff, children or other parents/carers.
  • Consuming alcohol or other substances whilst on the premises.  This includes smoking cigarettes and using vapes.
  • Taking photos or videos of children other than your own.

Thank you in advance for your support in ensuring everyone has a wonderful day!
